The amazing display of northern lights in Tromso draw me once again to visit Norway.
I have seen the aurora borealis before — many times on tv and photographs. However, nothing can compare to the experience of actually seeing such incredible display. Particles coming from explosion in the sun reaching the atmosphere around the Arctic pole are responsible of such colours and shapes in the sky.
Patience coupled with perfect weather conditions this year and I’m proud to share a selection of photos through this webslideshow.
I spent a couple of hours photo shooting. You will see that the freezing feeling on my fingers were totally worthwhile.
